Today was a great day! I now know the joy that so many of you have expressed in your accounts of the first time the sweat of your brow broke ground. We had two flights today and each was fantastic. The LSX is a great plane with numbers that are beyond expectations (except top-end). Attached is a .pdf with shots of Jim Rattie taking the first test runs. We saw preliminary numbers like no-flap power off stall of 35mph with a break straight ahead; 1 notch flap stall at 30 mph; 2 notch flap power on down to 28 mph with no break; max continious power no flaps straight ahead stall attempt but would not stall-it just kept climbing at about 750 fpm and 40 mph.
