An old friend who knows something of amphibians sent me this today.

Here's Google Translate's valliant try at the text:

Occurred Sunday, May 16, 2010
on the Feast of Hydraviation
Biscarrosse Parentis

Final on the lake, trains out ...

The flare, train ... always out

Ouch, ouch, ouch, landing

So far, so good, but ...

And when it churns in the water and more ...

Phase reversal

The help arrived. Passengers will fortunately escaped with a scare.

Tribulations around an unfortunate event

The aircraft sinking by the bow

Then turn it is to the rear

Final position of the appliance in water

Et .. in the foreground, the aircraft duck 'Fabre' who has himself taken a bath.

Attachments:

Yep. But some good ones, too. Aside from the obvious, it was an interesting experience--although not one I care to repeat.

But the important thing is to know that no one's immune.
