Description: This morning was to be my first flight in 'Second Chance'. Melbourne Tower advised of heavy showers about to cross the field from the Atlantic.

We decided to taxi back to the FBO, tie down and watch radar; this was not to be the morning for flying.

After about five hours of watching showers hover over and around Melbourne patience was rewarded with clearing skys, and the chance to fly my amateur home built flying contraption for the first time. Turns out I was one day late after 5.5 years, it was Wednesday, not Tuesday. Attachments:

You should be very proud. Did you fly it back home?

No PC, did not fly it back home. I was in the fortunate predicament of having two airplanes at KMLB-- I flew
the other one home.

Tuesday, Wednesday, that doesn't matter. What matters is getting to see your photo and write up under the Completions section of Kitplanes Magazine.

That just gave me chills.

Congrats Frank!
