Awesome pics, John. We were out there in Dec. 2001. Weather was great and the food at the Furnace Creek Ranch and Inn was GREAT!!

Bruno,

We have hard water here at Tahoe now too. Marlette Lake at 7800 feet elevation is frozen over, but Tahoe is to big and deep and never freezes over.

After 25 hours of flying at 80 knots, it would have been good to have the speed of your RV at cruise. Of course once we got to water, it was better to have the Searey!

Thanks as always John for your remarkable and colorful scenery. Lake Powell was always one of our favorites
in the 80's and 90's and while still spectacular it looks like the water level is still down quite a bit.

It looked really low to us too. According to this chart Lake Mead is down 69 feet from maximum.
