This was a first with the containers, but they don't allow room for the camping gear too. We walked to MOGAS at Death Valley and here.

I sometimes carry along a 5 gallon folding water container. In a pinch it will transport gasoline. (But a representative of the manufacturer got very upset with me when I asked it if might leak. She sent me three emails declaring that it was intended ONLY for water and would NOT hold gasoline. So of course I tested it--put in about a quart of MOGAS and hung it filler down from a tree overnight. The gasket leaked a bit, but the container appeared unaffected otherwise.) Not that I'd recommend it.

It was in the high 40ºsF when we were there, but the abundant sunshine makes it feel warmer...until the sun goes down.
