Description:
Lake Okeechobee is the 2nd biggest lake completely within the 48 states...730 square miles...average 9ft deep...deepest point 13 ft...can't see across it...and 9ft is deeper than I am tall...life jackets required (always)

As for South Florida Dave, there is a SPA flyin at Lake Jackson (near Sebring) several times a year (last weekend for example). But as for the Big O, you have a point.<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or > missing in user HTML. Please fix the HTML.</font> -->
