200 MILLION dollars in private money has already been raised...200 million to go. 5,900 ft <br />runway will be lengthened to 10,000 feet. Those farm fields will be a golden opportunity <br />for you real estate investors. It will be a cargo hub to relieve Miami. Mostly flowers, <br />Lobster, shrimp, etc. The FAA said they will have the final go ahead answer in 18 months. <br />Clewiston is the current home of US Sugar....they know how to raise money...even if <br />Glades County is one of the poorest counties in Florida.<br /><br />If you fly over to visit ...looook uppp... lots of sky divers currently....

Thanks, Dan. The 'nuclear mushroom ' cloud in the upper right is a cane field burn...by <br />the time we flew to the field it was already extinguished and the sugar cane was being <br />harvested...
