There's one in Barnstormers that sounds like a real 'fixer-upper'. The seller claims to have 'landed in trees with a BRS'.

Actually I was amazed how many are appearing in Barnstormers.

Although my Searey does not meet the 'late model' criteria, it is for sale, although I have not agressively moved in this direction. The kit was delivered in Dec 1995 and signed off by the FAA in March 1997. It still looks and flys pretty good - always hangared - but is a target rich environment for upgrades. The hull is A or B (I've never been quite sure which), go-cart wheels and brakes, original trim system, 18 - gal plastic fuel tank, and bungee tailwheel retract system. 330 hours on airframe and engine.

The engine is the 80 HP 912UL (the 'S' model was not yet available), with a 3-blade Warp Drive propeller (Just installed last year).

Contact Jay Friddell 815-547-9574 email pjfriddell@sbcglobal.net
