Anyone know of a good A&P in the Lakeland vicinity or close by who is knowledgeable about Rotax engines? We're trying to avoid having to fly all the way to Sebring for some service, particularly due to the nature of the issue.

The right mag has no drop, and the engine did not want to quit for quite some seconds when the ignition was turned off. We're told by Kerry it's probably a faulty ground in the electrical system; tech at Lockwood agrees. Would like to fly it down there this weekend so we don't have to take time off from work, but if it won't shut down . . . . could be there a while! Would prefer to find someone local who could come to Lakeland and troubleshoot.

Any referrals or other suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks.
