The Russians are definitely more imaginative than we are when it comes to this stuff, but I noticed that the footage did not actually show it taking off from the water (almost, but they cut it short)....makes you wonder why. Maybe because it takes a mile or so to get off? The 'impressive' fly-by at the end reminds me of the Greenville Seaplane fly-in of years ago, when someone with a Seawind would do a high-speed pass in front of the crowd over the water, then go back up to the airport where it came from...and never land on the water.
