Folks, This morning I waked up and made a good coffee made a fire sat on my confortable coutch and point with my mouse the Searey Family STS or S&D and read all your comments, solutions, commitments, all your sharing, and best of all... all the respect with each others. Dennis V., Ken L. Dave L. John D. Dan M. Dan N. just to name some...
Want to tell you a word of appreciation and I'm glade to be part of it.
I only wish good continuation and growing friendships to all of us.
This wonderfull bird the Searey, or call it a passion, gives us a good reason to be attract to each other.
Well thats about it I felt this way this morning.

Hug my friends
Bruno

    Hi Bruno:

Well stated. I feel the same way. Most of my closest pals are guys who share our water-borne insanity.

Meanwhile, back at my snow-bound hangar, the new A-24 gets a little closer to being airborne with each passing day. In fact, it is just about completed. Truth be told, if I had not gone off the deep end with a fancy EFIS-based panel (which I installed myself) and with some semi-insane efforts to reduce weight (my new A-24 will come in at roughly 990 pounds.... the last one was right at 1000 pounds so you can see that the big effort didn't pay off), it would have been flying two months ago.

The good news is that the days are starting to lengthen and before we know it, Spring will arrive. I sure hope to visit your magnificant part of Canada this coming summer!

Very best,
Larry

    Bruno,
You mentioned 'SeaRey Family STS'. Is that a site other than the SeaRey S&D? I'm
interested in the SeaRey and considering building one. I have enjoyed S&D very much but I
notice there is not too much discussion about the more technical aspects of actually
building one. I would like to get better educated on the particulars involved. Is there another
site for that?

Yes, Ron, there is. STS stands for Searey technical site. It is exclusively for SeaRey
owners and builders...It is very helpful. If you have any technical questions, there are
plenty of folks on here you can contact for pre-build questions and concerns. Hope to have
you as a part of the SeaRey family soon!

Great point Bruno, Words cannot describe the wonderful times and adventures our Searey has given our entire family over the past six years.

Very nicely stated Bruno and very true as well. Not to mention that you've
contributed many good posts and photos as well. I guess winters can bring good
thoughts when shared with a fire and coffee. Best regards.
