We had an absolutely great day for flying last week and decided to film Penny's plane Lady Liberty near Valkaria Airport, FL. I had the fun task of filming Jim Ratte fly our plane while riding with 'Duster Dan' in his Searey. We had a great time and would like to share it with our Searey family--the YouTube website is attached.

Enjoy!

Marshall Lounsberry Attachments:

Outstanding video--and flying, and photography, and editing. Did I mention great looking airplane too! Can I assume that Jim and Dan will provide similar services for any SR that they painted and test flew? Hint, hint...:-)<!-- >'">
' or > missing in user HTML. Marshall, You have a Beautiful aircraft to be proud of and the video was awesome. I never knew that Jim and Dan were such good pilots, now I know. Great job.

Great video, the real job was done by the film plane, good flying and a steady passenger.

Thanks all! Marshall told me this morning that he had posted this here. We got lucky - this particular day and conditions were the best we had had for months. Marshall has a sweet aircraft (I love flying it), Dan is a great pilot to work with for formation shoots, and Marshall did a fantastic job using a camera he had never seen prior to that morning. And two very long nights (after 2 am) editing on my laptop.

We'll have Marshall's plane at Sebring next week for the LSA Expo if anyone makes it down there. Jim

Beautiful video! I can't figure how you got the water shots so smoothly...staying with the plane..with no obstructions during 360 degree turns...great flying, filming, AND editing!

That was great. Almost good enough for me to shovel out the hangar.

PA needs to ask you to place a link to that video on their web site. That is the best marketing video I've seen of the 'Rey yet. Jim should place his building services more prominently on the video and put it out there.

    Hi Marshall;

Probably the best amphibious video I have ever had the privilege to watch. I have already sent it off the all my pals so they can come to grips with our passion for water flying. (g)

As I watched it the second time, my respect for both pilots went 'off graph' It must have taken plenty of planning (and extremely diligent coordination via radio) to pull it off.

Well done!

Best,
Larry

Thank you Larry. Jim and Dan did do some preliminary planning and a lot was done on the fly (no pun intended). I took a lot more video with some good and some not so good. The editing is certainly key to making it all work.

It is especially rewarding when folks enjoy the results . . .

Regards,

Marshall
