My son has a new toy for his web ad business, a DJI Phantom 4 rotor drone with controllable camera. Here is 2 minutes of airborne footage, some of my Searey on Black Oak Lake, the clearest lake in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Yep, it actually flew through the pontoon boat.http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=yNE4oOPWZQo&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DyNE4oOPWZQo%26feature%3Dyoutu.be&app=desktop<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or &gt; missing in user HTML.     Very cool, Walt! (I may need two or three birthdays this year to justify one of those things.)

Beyond Wow! I was especially impressed with the sense of depth such as the layers of <br />leaves when flying through the trees. BTW nice water landing too.

Very impressive Walt. I'm surprised (impressed) he was able to capture a moving target <br />(your SeaRey) in the FOV.<br /><br />So the Personal UAV/Drone has arrived?

With the GoPro / wifi, can you see a real time image on your smart phone? Can you fly the 'craft' by just viewing the wifi image? I think it would be cool to sit in my office and peruse the house / yard with this set up.

Jeff, I've use the GoPro wifi with a tablet, the only thing with my setup is the tablet lags just a little in real time before it renders the video. The speed of the processor of the tablet or device you're using to capture the wifi on is that would make it suitable for actual live simulator control. There are outfits that are supplying a wifi transmitter for the copter with video goggles you ware as a receiver that are used for this purpose.
