Everything on DaPlane has survived 20 years of salt water operations fairly well...except for anything electrical.
Most things electrical are unreachable without removing the nose deck and windshield. Removing and re-riveting them a dozen times has been a royal PITA!
Nutplates and #10 screws, my friends, are the answer.
Granddaughter, Skyy, can remove or replace the ultimate hatch in less than 30 minutes...and no cleanup required.
