(moved from STS)
Doug Rogerson - Oct 11, 2003 Edit | Delete | Viewers
It was a memorable journey. Having done little VFR flying in the past 30 years, I had to relearn a lot of things the hard way during the trip. I will always remember the trip in vivid detail. The mountains of southern B.C. covered with a recent covering of snow. The wide expanse of the Canadian prairies with hugh flocks of migrating waterfowl. The hospitality of Darell and Linda Lynds. The endless lakes of western Ontario. The thrill of joining up with John for the last leg of the journey and the beautiful fall colors of southwestern Ontario.
But say what you like Frank a heater would have been the finishing touch.
(Unknown author) Doug, If I lived in Canada I would have a heater for sure. I've enjoyed the pictures

Doug Rogerson - The heater I installed works great Frank. I need only select slow speed on the fan and it gets toasty warm in no time. I am hoping we have a long fall with little snow so I can get maximum enjoyment before I put her to bed for the winter. I am in the process of building a 40 ft by 50 ft hanger to keep her in.
(Unknown author) Belated 'Happy Birthday' Doug, and Happy 1st. anniv. of your 'epic' voyage across the continent.
Who needs a heater anyway? Just plug the snowmobile suit into the socket and let her rip!
