Nice Robert. What's causing the yellowish water color?

Robert Lee - Sep 22,2004   Viewers  | Reply
It is a combination of brown river water (Tanic) and a very white sandy bottom.

I'll bet the tannin stained water almost obscures the bar now. I was at St. Marks last week, and the Wakullah river was dark brown. It is normally crystal clear, but with all the rain, it is really stained.

Your right Rick. In fact, during times like this I have observed from airliners this whole area of the Big Bend discolored up to 50 miles offshore.
