Looks bloody awefull to me! Imagine the shear and rotors coming off those trees in crosswinds!

The runway is 3,000 long by about 100 feet wide but it can get soft on the edges if there has been rain. The center 35 feet is good limestone. Some times a low pass is in order to clear the deer. Fly N Fish, a couple RVs and a piper cub are the only planes using it right now. Yes the rotors can be interesting. I keep my approach speed up to give the control surfaces more power.

WOW!!! I can get the RV in there. My home runway is tree lined and only 50 X 1700 ft. with several whoop-de-doos.

Robert, is Ancient Oaks on the map? If not, what's the coordinates. Once we sort through these fall breezes with names, the weather should get really nice and we'll be getting the exploring urge.

Charlie, this is a private airpark. There are five hangers and two homes. The lots are one acre in size and run about $15,000 a lot right now, which is up from $9,000 alot three years ago. The land is low and subject to flooding if the Steinhatchee river floods. Homes are constructed on stilts. The runway is at 16' elevation and rarely floods.

Rick, Ancient Oaks is on the sectional, look NW of cross city. I too tire of the named fall winds. Right now my hanger doors are nailed shut! I was going to break her out today but now we have the winds of Jennie coming
