I live in Tampa (you're all welcome to visit here also) and I do reserve duty at Charleston AFB, SC. I'm usually up there the first weekend of the month. We fly a C-17 down Friday night to pick up myself and several dozen others at various bases throughout Florida for the weekend. We fly home again Sunday night. Since it's a training flight, it usually includes at least one assault landing which always gets the attention of the retirees and newbees on board. 600,000 MTOW of airplane stops in 3000'.

Ken, my parent live in Temple Terrace, near Fowler av. They been there for 22 years. They may move her to Columbia to be closer to me, they are both 85 yo).<br /> I'm based at Owens filed in Columbia.Wee have four Seareys in the area. One of them is from National guard F-16 pilots. They have more fun with the SR than F-16.
