John, this was the least damaged of several that tipped or flipped. The others were out of camera range. I think at least one was a total loss.

It does, Gene, but this was one of five or six airplanes that were flipped on the ramp when a thunderstorm passed through. It also took off part of the maintenance hangar roof and dropped it on a T-hangar. I was told that all of the damaged airplanes were tied down, but if they were--well, someone needs a bit of knot practice.

I had a friend at Whitman, CA, that tied his plane down very meticulously and very securely only to find the plane behind blown loose of tiedowns, overturned and atop his for a total loss.
