    Why not avgas on long trips? I carried a 6gal.plastic fule tank on board, not again .The gas smell on board was bad.<br />

    Hi Ed<br />You are right. But I didnt' carry the fuel on board. My wife was following me with our camper to provide 'groundsupport' (fuel, toolbox and accomondation). Anyhow at all airport landed, the local people would have helped to supply from the next gas station. No need to carry on board.
