John,
Thanks again for coming out for this day. You, as well as others, have been an amazing support to get me here. Lots of 'peaks' and 'valleys'. I think you'd agree this day was definitly a peak.

No Dave, I didn't go up again. I had the thrill of the first ride and figured tomorrow is another day (plus with the wind that developed, I'd probably take off going backwards!). I'll go spend some quality time up in 'Take II' over the weekend.

    Congratulations Dennis & John,
It's great to see another Canadain SeaRey. Do you fellows have to get a float rating? I'm still trying to find out without asking TC outright. I've got 190 hours on mine but since I had to convert from AULA to Amateur Built, I have heard rumours.

    Thanks all!!

Roberta: 'Almost an RV grin'? Well, it's still there! Always a thrill to leave the ground. But the first one is always special.

Bert, yes indeed. We'll need a seaplane endorsement. But I'm almost there and I can finish on mine.

Hey, Dennis. If it's still there, it's got to be GREAT!! It will be much better when you do your first water landing and takeoff. Nothing beats that first flight in your new airplane that you built. Again, Congratulations and many wonderful flights ending in GRINS!

Thanks Roberta. I've done a bunch in JD's plane: all with John beside me. I'm sure it'll be a rush to do a solo landing in BSE.

Congrats Dennis, I just made my first flight last week and I'm still grinning like that 20 hrs later! There's nothing like that first moment you push the throttle forward. Happy flying!!!

Thanks Jim. That balck box is a panel lighting system: super-bright,red LED's focused on each instrument or area of the panel, with a dimmer control. Had some time to kill.

Thanks Tom. I'm lovin' it already.
