Larry, We are almost neighbors! I keep my Searey at Claytor Lake in SW VA. It is about 5 miles south of PSK which is 175.5 NM from 1A5 according to airnav.com. Give me a shout if you are up this way and I'll do the same.

    Larry,

We used to have a house in Highlands for many years. That is a great area. I am thinking about flying to Franklin for the Fall colors. When do you think the color will max out? Is it tuff to get a rental car at that airport?
Robert;
The second week in Oct. is when we went to Franklin to spend two weeks for the leaves. Look in the phone book,find Bob Wilson's phone number. Tell him you will give him a ride in the searey. He will see that you get transportation. Maybe my name won't hurt either.

    PC,

Thanks, I just might do that. Hey I might be heading over to the hanger today, so I will call you if I do. I have not been there since we talked last.

    Hope you guys have better colors than we had here in the northeast. Finally flew today after several days of bad weather, the trees are already brown and going bare. We never did have bright colors this fall, they were very dull.

    Robert, the best colors are expected during the last week of Oct and first week of Nov., but predictions are that colors will not be at their best this year. Rental cars are available to be delivered to the airport from town. Let me know and I will get details if you are serious about visiting.
