Description: Steve left the Lake in the parking lot and put the keys under the doormat. Nobody minding the shop on a Sunday... everybody out flying I guess, actually they were probably snowmobiling, ice fishing or ice boat sailing. We saw lots of that activity going on in the area even though the ice is less than 100% on most of the lakes. I never seen it so warm around these parts this time of year. I'm sure we're gonna pay soon. Still a lot of winter left...

    Both of those have combustion heaters, don't they?<br /><br />My first flight instructor had one on his Buc. After he passed away, his wife sold his plane. I ran into the guy that bought it. He told me when he took it for the first annual, the mechanic found my instructor had installed a valve and ductwork that vented the heat up to the engine for pre-heat. Definitely an unapproved mod. The mechanic told him that it had to come out. It did.
