Description: Sitting on a soft sand beach with gentle breezes rippling through the moss-draped trees it was almost possible to believe an untrampled Florida still exists. It didn’t take long, however, for the rude noise of a nearby highway to crack the dream. Spying the broken beer bottles next to a charred fire pit and a nearby “NO TRESPASSING” sign shattered the vision. Even being close to the illusion factory at Disney wasn’t enough to transform this place into the paradise lost. Pity. The search continues.

    Dan,

Let me know when you find it, I won’t tell anyone else. Steinhatchee is beginning to transform into a Condo Zoo. I am up here in Steinhatchee now. Get a squadron together and fly into Ancient Oaks Airpark. I will pick you up and take you out on the flats and show you how to catch a Seatrout.
Ah, but alas, Dan!!! Once you have found this pristine paradise you so fondly seek and speak of, it will no longer exist. It will be among those places trampled upon by man and no longer fondly regarded in your mind. Pity!!

No, no, no, my dear. 'Leave no trace of trampling,' is my motto. Besides for some of us it's the quest, not the destination.

You are truly an uncommon man, Dan, and would certainly preserve paradise. And the journey........., ah yes!!!!

Dan, didn't you find a couple of 'paradises' on your adventure last year? By the way, has Ann got the coffee table book ready for publication yet?
