Description: Went back for a second visit to the Udvar-Hazy Collection of the National Air and Space Museum at Dulles yesterday.

This is looking east from the foot of the ramp leading to the main entrance. The monumental symbolism is... um, impressive!

Actually, there are lots of those big balls on the museum grounds--they're concrete, not brass--but only these two are near the big pointing-up thing. I just love a good metaphor!

You'd love the view of the State of Florida Capitol building from the south. Two domed structures on each side of a very narrow high rise! PERFECT!

US 27 runs perpendicular to the capitol, the capitol sitting up on the hill, when one comes from the south the view is ......er.....different! Makes one wonder about what the designers were thinking.
