All right, my first good on the water action shot! Thanks Dan.

The action shot is great, and I like the cowling too. The nav/pos lights seem to be inset into the wing tip, or is it a matter of photo shadow/persepective?

    Frank C.,

Thanks, My strobes and Nav lights are not inset, it must be shadows. I do like the cowling. It does not affect the cooling or the trim. The only difference I notice is that most people like it and it makes the plane slightly faster. Engine inspections take more effort, but nearly everything can be seen. If need be, you can take it off in about four minutes with a couple wrenches.
Yeah, engine inspections in my 182 are a bitch too. I'm thinking about removing the cowl so I can inspect it better!

    And you'll have better cooling.
