Description: It was the wonderful group of SeaRey people that made this year’s Georgian Gaggle a success. It didn’t seem to matter that we had storms and power failures (and gear collapses) we had a great time anyway. Sorry my photographer left mid week and missed some of the late arrivals like Mark MacKinnon, Jim Timoney, Dave King, Dave Edward, Melanie Noordhuis and Doug Hysert. There are a few others that were there but apparently hid from the camera! (Where were you Dennis?)

Anyway, 10 SeaReys! A Georgian Gaggle record! Watch out for next year!

John, I had no idea the Gaggle is such a blast. Now I do.

Many thanks again for all the hard work you put into making this such a success.

Also, thanks to Jim Timoney for giving me the Cherokee 6 ride to and from the Gaggle, without which I wouldn't have gone. So I had a terrific opportunity for both Searey flying (in John's bird), and getting right seat IFR experience in a high performance single. Who could ask for more.

Great time John, I think Bob Toerner set a record for the least time spent in the air on a gaggle, .001 hours.

I guess I wasn't near the camera! But I'm in the group-on-a-log shot in the top pic. All in all, it was a great time despite all my electronic glitches.

You put on a heck of a splash-in, John. Thank you and Brittany for all the good work.

Thanks to everyone's patience and good spirits we all had a blast. But I certainly could not have survived my self induced stress without Brittany's cheerful help. I think next year Dave and Martha will just have to run the Gaggle as I might not have a plane ready. C-GJIB is starting her new adventure today.

Marcus, I can't speak for other Gaggles but the next Georgian Gaggle is planned for August 13-18 2007. I suggest that you bookmark the following URL:
http://www.seareycanada.com/GAGGLE.htm
Beginning next January I will probably place alerts on Splash & Dash regarding the summer's fun..
