    Beautiful, Dave. But where's the proof that they are the biggest. I'm guessing the dunes east of Pictured Rocks in the UP are higher (but 'highest' may not be 'biggest,' eh?)

    I'd vote for the Sleeping Bear dunes in the northwest corner of Michigan's lower peninsula. I think they're the highest in North America.
