Dan, have been missing your advetures and photos, so these are
welcome. Has anyone ever sat out a TRW in a pond on the hook? That
might be safer but gutsy.

When I first got my old Buc II, Frank, I flew it home with a very experienced instructor. As we approached a big storm he told me to put it down in a cove. We waited out the storm, hot and uncomfortable, on the water. Fortunately the lightning missed us. I'm sure it had more to do with good luck rather than good living.

Rob Loneragan has a tale about spending the night on the water downunder. That wouldn't be any fun.

I smell the makings of a Nickens tale. Big storm, wait it out on a remote lake. Stuck overnight. String out Kevin D'Angelo's hamocks between the bow eye and the wing strut. Then throw in a few Florida Gators and the adventure is in full swing.

Hey Jeff...you forgot the beautiful young widow marooned on an island of saw grass.
She is a distant cousin of the one Dan found on an island in Georgian Bay.
