Description:
After two years of drooling and yearning to see the Aeroprakt A-24 in the flesh,my wishes were fulfilled. Lynn and I drove to Grimsby Airpark just south of Hamilton On. and met with Larry Woods who has imported the a/c to Canada and will be it's Canadian distributor. This plane, while not a SeaRey replacement, is a quantum step up from an Ultra Light. It is extremely well engineered and manufactured. There are some minor shortcomings...in my view. One is no manual gear extension provision in the event of an electrical failure and the other is the tight headroom due to the curveture of the sliding side window supports. Other than that, and the price, I was very...very impressed.

I'd be happy to be your co-pilot in this airplane Dave.Getting acustomed to the use of a ' yoke ' again would be fun....but I would prefer the good old joy stick. It has ingenious flap and ailerons....both are slotted similar to your Storch.
