Description: Looks good for a over 50 year old airplane. They are now the latest sought after float machine flying on the coast. With all the mods they cost somewhere around $1.2 million. It is powered by a 750 HP, PT6-34 Empty weight 5300 lbs and gross 8367 lbs. It has a max. passenger load of 14 passengers and single pilot. Cruise speed is 116 Kts with a fuel burn of 350 Lbs per hour. It uses 7170 size floats

    I'm also a big fan of the turbine otter. Read recently that Viking Air in Victoria is bringing back the Twin Otter, which will have no problem selling at almost any price if the rumor is true. Whose nice looking SR is that in the foreground? Good looking paint scheme.
