Me too !! Me too !! I wonder if there's a way to tame down the control inputs if somebody just wanted this type of 200mph-er just for cross-country and not a lot ( prolly NONE ) of the aerobatic work ??

Chet - I think that would be the RV-10. 200mph and sits 4. Not designed for aerobatics, but of course, it's an RV so it's structurally up to doing them.

    Chet,

You would be surprised how easy it is to fly these plane cross country. They trim out truly hands off. I was wrapping up a trip to Ft Lauderdale today and caught myself looking at the panel to see if the Auto Pilot was off because although I was hand flying the airplane, it took so little input, I had to double check.

Dan,

Thanks for the postings. Passed over your house today at 11, 500 and 200+ MPH at 9.8 GPH. The wife is already making her list of destinations. I think she is getting to like this flying stuff.

Attachments:

Robert, what a great plane! I have flown in an RV-8, quite the rocketship. You must admit you are really packed into it, not much room, but that's the price you pay for speed.
