Description: This is Phil's Flea. We met up over SW Virginia for some air to air shots today. Phil built this plane and has around 800 hours on it. He has flown it to Oshkosh and Sun N Fun. I think he said Oshkosh was in 1975.

Phil's other plane is a beautiful Osprey which he also built. He did his own conversion of a Turbo charged Corvair engine with gear reduction.

Phil has been having some challenges with the Corvair power plant, so uses the Flea to stay in the air.

Not to be deterred, Jim. Perhaps Phil will share his water landing experience with this airplane.
