Description: When you absolutely positively want to make it to the big show but don’t have a lot of time to splash around, you get the Mule ready for the long haul north. There is no better place to do that than at the Maule’s home nest, the world’s largest home built factory, B.D.’s last home airport, Moultrie, Georgia.

Sure is a pretty plane, Dan. I bet it felt good to take her home. She actually *looks* happy! A buddy's going to the RV homecoming in 2 weeks. He's got one of the nicest 6A's I've seen. The big Beech thing is in ICT next month and that looks like fun.

I hoped to do the Bonanza's 2 Osh thing, but after my trip to LOU in July - my longest trip ever - I'm not gonna fly that far again without an instrument ticket. I just put in a G430w, GMA 340 audio panel, sTEC 30 a/p - a/h, GPSS , elec. trim and a comm jack for a handheld. I gotta get the rating to justify these new toys and maybe make the Beech Diamond Anniversary!

So... Thanks for sharing your AirVenture... I'm bummed I missed it!

I'd like to invite you and everyone in CFL to visit Chapter 74 on the 21st, or any third Wednesday of the month at Showalter Flying Service at ORL. Some of us meet at Amigos before... I'll buy the first 'rita!
