Description: There are lots of sights to see Oshkosh, some of them painted on the airplanes. This little Zenair looks plenty serene. Rumor had it that there have been a couple of structural problems resulting in crashes recently. This rumor was being spread by an unreliable source (a Zenair competitor).

    I think this is the model that has the record for short water takeoffs. The story I read was that the pilot pushes the stick full down as he applies power, the nose of the floats submerge momentarily, pop back up and he's flying in about 25'. That, I'd like to see...
