Description: I wasn’t ready to leave, but there were so many beaches to explore. I found one near the Overton Islands. Somewhere back behind lies the wreck of a B-29. On a summer day in 1948 its atmospheric research project ended up in the lake. It is well hidden under 100’ of water.

Check out the park brochure at http://www.nps.gov/lame/historyculture/upload/b29-ifs2.pdf for pictures of the submerged wreck.

Life is good (on top of the lake).

You're flying a turbo 'rey now? Oh, it doesn't look like her normal colors either...

So Dan, which engine do you like better? Is the difference in price worth it between the 912S and the 914?

Depends, Dave. For flittering around the big hills on a hot summer day, that turbo really is the e-ticket. For all else, I'll stick with my old 912S thank you very much.
