Description:
In mid afternoon the air blasting through the open canopies was furnace hot. “Dry” heat at 100F is as debilitating as Florida’s wet heat. I searched for a good spot to take a cooling dip in the river. I settled for a rocky beach and a long, cool swim.

Try Tahoe in mid-October sometime. Water temperature 58ºF, air 72ºF, beach...balmy!

Actually this is the nude beach and there were people on either side of us in their birthday suits!
