Description:
Night was approaching and I was checking for a place to roost. I contacted the FBO at Vicksburg. “If you can make it here in the before 7, I’ll let you have the courtesy car.” At max warp speed I made it with 2 minutes to spare.
All that fast flying made for a short day:
-Ada, OK (ADH) to a splash down on Eufaula Reservoir and on the Canadian River then to Ozark (7M5) and Clarksville, AR (H35) = 3.1 hours
- H35 to Arkansas River to Dumas, AR (0M0) = 2.2 hours
- 0M0 to Vicksburg/Tallulah (TVR) = 1.5
Or a goodly sum of 6.8 hours in the air and on the water.

Hey Dan, I have a fuel question for you. Do you carry and use a fuel additive to neutralize the lead in 100LL to keep the Rotax happy?

If it is my airplane, Jeff, the answer is yes. This poor airplane had been operated exclusively on 100LL for some time, so I figured one more trip sucking lead wouldn't do it any more harm.

Unfortunately, Lockwood's recent advice is not to use TCP with the 914. Of course, I haven't checked this week, so it may be different today.
