That looks like a Searey frienly ramp. I would have been tempted to try it out.

It does look like a fine ramp, Jeff, except for the barges, swirling, muddy water, and big bridge just to the south. Still, if one were hungry for some jambalaya and slot machines.....no guts, no bonus bingo round!

I visited a similar river boat casino on the Red River in Shreveport. It met the law of needing to be a river boat casino on the water but the dyke kept the water level independent of the depth of the river so access/egress to the land was stationary, a clever way to get around the intention of the law.
