Yes.
It's not fair as Dennis and John both know the territory.
I think our world actually slows down around these supreme-dutch mean machines.
Primary radar doesn't like them as they create lots of non-predictable clutter.
Anyway, I do like taking pictures of them. Attachments:

Plans for major expansion to the wind farm on the peninsula are obvious. First, the inventory blades south of Downs Airfield, the generator units are staged in a field near the wind farm west of Downs and the land below already has a labrynth of roadways built for the installations. Attachments:

I live in the Township of Amaranth (actually on the edge of Shelburne) where these wind turbines will be set up. Although phase two of the original wind farm, they require approval from a different township (Amaranth) where some snags have delayed the program at least six months. My understanding is that approvals have now been received. Count the blades and divide by three for the total turbines. Looks like about seventy-five to me. I wouldn't want to try to fly into Down's field on a moonless night! (even if we did have runway lights.)

Oh, it's not so difficult John, as long as the hangar's lit up!

My first time through the Banning Pass from the LA Basin to Palm Springs, I was intrigued by these wind
farms. By the third time I thought they were a blight on the otherwise spectacular landscape. Clean yes,
efficient who knows, but ugly--you bet!

We were there a few years ago and we were amazed at the'wind farms.' Whole hillsides for miles just covered in the things. You're right. Ugly too.
