Dan, this is the one that I like the best. The way the sun hits both planes and their reflection is absolutely gorgeous, especially when the picture is enlarged! JB

Wouldn't it have been something if Steve D had been out there with his video cameras. These are priceless!

Actually, Dennis, Jamie had a videographer in his airplane.

Kerri is taxiing noze up and Jamie noze down we can see the angle difference, I prefer noze up this is an (anti-suction attitude) for what I think. I'm thinking of Jim's flip over in this pic.

Yes, and there are differences in trim.

Don this is what I ment when saying noze up or down (the trim setting)

I notice the engine mounting off Jamie Searey, is made of tubing instead of standard allu. frame !

Never seen this before, why...? is it a modification or option from PA ?

Bruno - that is the required mount for a 914. Over $1000 US.

Cool pictures Dan, your Canon is shooting pretty straight.
Beautiful warmth of the golden hour of the tungsten sun light.

This picture is a good example of trim settings.
Kerry has the trim set nose up and about 20 degrees
of flaps. Jamie is full nose down with maybe 10
degrees of flaps. If they are both in a no stick pressure
trim Kerry’s plane looks like it has more forward weight
than Jamie's Searey dose. That would mean that Kerry
has a higher power setting then Jamie since Jamie's
Searey is producing less drag in the water to stay on the
step. Maybe Kerry needs to get off the flax seed diet.
