Description: It certainly was a strange scene for a little lady from northern Iowa. Jess was celebrating her 13th birthday by sightseeing from a SeaRey. Out near Buffalo Island we spotted a buzzard floating on a bloated alligator corpse. It was a “stinky” sight too, but we instigated a forensic examination. Jess concluded the alligator had gotten its snout ensnared in a net while snapping a enmeshed fish and drowned.

“Works for me and the buzzard.”

Dave, Looks like good old Lake Apopka, near Bob White field. Gators for the most part<br />are harmless.

You got it Phil. And that's exactly what Jess said, Dave. It was actually only a small to medium size (6') gator. Jess still objected to my putting it on her side of the airplane.
