Description: Jess didn’t want to get too close to the buffalo that waded out into the water weeds to feed. It is the first time I’ve seen one in the water. The alligators lounging on the beach didn’t seem interested in buffalo steaks for lunch.

Bloated gator corpse & water buffalo! I'm not sure Miss Jess is getting a
balanced picture of Florida. Come visit SWFL for Dolphin, Manatees and
Palm trees!

You are right about that, Terry. I mentioned this to my local farmer and he said hay has gotten to more than $12.50 per square bale due to the drought. I'm guessing it takes a lot of hay to feed one of these critters.
