Description: With winter retreating northward the Sierras are beginning to see signs of spring and I went flying to capture it. Unfortunately there was a thin cirrus overcast obscuring the sun, which made the colors a bit drab. Guess I will need to go out tomorrow when the sun is forecast to shine!

    It is a Fuji 6500FD with built-in 28-300mm (35mm equivalent) lens. My wrists are resting on the windscreen and the wide angle lens catches a bit of the nose.
