Description:
There's no FBO at Jekyll Island--but there's one heck of a terminal! The electric cars rent for maybe $25 (or less if you get really lucky, the manager's wife said). Off-season motel rates are reasonable, and there's a campground a couple of miles from the airport.

Bruno, you're supposed to be admiring the (pseudo-)oriental rug and the (reproduction) antique furniture. <br /><br />Not shown: about 36 golf fairways suitable (only) for emergency landing strips. When you drive onto the island, Georgia collects $3 because you're entering a state park. I don't know if they hit you up for it if you fly in.
