Description:
This is an account of SeaRey N123XM's journey from Richmond, Virginia, to the 2008 Georgian Bay Gaggle and back. In a few places it borders on stuff that properly belongs on STS, but if no one minds I'll post it here so that some friends and relatives who don't have access there can read it. I'll post a discussion of the technical things on STS shortly, so if you have responses of a technical nature, please wait and post them there.
N123XM's Hobbes meter ran up 31.7 hours, and the total distance, including the Gaggle sorties, was somewhere around 2000 miles.
Let the telling of the tale begin.

Don, with all your challenges, how did you find the time to do this excellent travelogue?
I have had a ISP “Sympatico” email and file download problem for the last few days but that is only an excuse and this morning everything seems back to normal (and I can begin posting some photos etc..)

Anyway, thank you for a most excellent enjoyable report. Ellen and enjoyed having you and Carol for a too brief visit!
