One more thing, I were positively suprised how this behaves in water. This plane needs no to be shamed beside SuperCup or C185 on floats that I have flown before. So really funny plane we have. Attachments:

Great shot Markku. Beautiful contrasting colours.
A lot of difference to the C185 and PA18 for sure.
HAVE FUN and welcome to the wet set.

You have a beautiful plane, Markku. Just keep those wheels up there near your elbows while you are in the air.

Lovely photo, Markku, of a beautiful SeaRey. Interesting low sun angle, too. ('Gear up for flying.')

Beautiful Bird! I love your tail art. Good luck, and ALWAYS retract your gear after
take off. Always fly with the gear retracted!
Best wishes!

    Simply gorgeous Markku!

OK, I'll bite. Why IS your gear down?

Well, I'm so new with my SeaRey in water that I used gears to slow my water taxi speed as this was my first docking with this plane. After that I just forgot to raise it after securing plane to dock. Gears up my water taxi speed is quite fast even with one mag... and then idle is quite bad also. But well I need to practise more dockings with this.
