Description: The bad news was that the only food available was from the refrigerator to the microwave. The good news was that 93 octane fuel was conveniently available at the boat dock.

Patoka, Indiana! Thanks, Dan. This one goes on my list of Cool SeaRey Stops. It looks at least as good as Lake Monroe, up near Bloomington, and the 93 octane seems easier to get to.

When you are near the lake, watch out for low flying military aircraft. I was told they get lots of low flying heavy metal visitors. It is near both an IR and VR and while I was there a Blackhawk circled the dam. If the water conditions are bad you can continue north two miles to French Lick (FRH). The guys on the lake said the sleepy little airport had been converted into a 5500' asphalt airplane haven to accommodate the local boy done good, Larry Bird.
