Description: As I was making a rare straight line the terrain below was not.

There was no readily available fuel gauge in the airplane (it was buried within the electronic instrument on a submenu). I wasn’t worried because of the extra large gas tank. It was a shock, then, to actually look at the tank and see such a low level. An immediate diversion was required.

Unfortunately the fueling station at Davis County airport (DCY) was closed. Fortunately a student pilot saw me sitting forlornly staring at the locked fuel tank and intervened. He had a key and took cash for enough gas to get down to my planned destination.

    One of your five dogs John....<br />I owned 4 dogs once in my life and when we were listening a movie confortably a big smell came arround and with 4 dogs I could always say that it was one of the dogs that fard...hehehe... Do you own 5 dogs to cover yourself...? hehehe
