    Okay, Dan, here are a few more shots of the three Russian airplanes, in chronological order. The evolution is easy to see. But I used a fisheye lens, so the proportions and angles look a little screwy in most of them.<br />      Attachments:

    The fisheye lens can create interesting distortions. Here are two extreme examples. I like the P-40 shot because it emphasizes the 'sharktooth' emblem that the Flying Tigers used. The PBY-5 shot, on the other hand, just looks silly--as if Walt Disney had wanted to make a cute cartoon character of it.<br />      Attachments:
